Tempaid users with valid support
contracts can now download software updates
automatically from within the Tempaid software.
The new function has been made available from
the top menu option 'Software Updates' -> 'Check
for Updates'. Release notes showing full
details of each upgrade can be viewed before
downloading allowing the user to only download
and install updates that would be of benefit.
This new function is available 24 hours a day, 7
days per week, saves time, money and helps the
environment by saving paper, packaging and waste
plastic from discarded CD's !

HMRC
Payroll Standard |

Oxford Software are pleased to
announce that we have now received the
prestigious HMRC Payroll Standard accreditation
for Tempaid 5. Tempaid 5 is the UK's only
specialist recruitment software package to have
attained the standard. Our development team have
spent many months implementing additional
features required to for the Standard
and have passed all of the stringent tests which
also involved a two-day on-site visit by HMRC.
The Payroll Standard helps
employers to identify payroll software products
or services with the essential features
necessary to calculate PAYE, National Insurance
contributions (NICs), Statutory Payments and to
perform a range of other payroll functions.
These include Directors NI, weekly, 2,4 and
monthly payrolls, student loans, stakeholder
pensions, attachment/arrestment orders,
deductions from earnings orders,
SSP,SMP,SPP,SAP, online P45's. Further

the capability to accurately record and process
Travel & Subsistence allowances whilst ensuring
full compliance using Ztravelex. This feature
rich module developed through the use of the

The Travel & Subsistence scheme
allows employers to make considerable savings as
it reduces employment costs. By enabling
eligible employees to claim Travel and
Subsistence allowances the employer is able to
benefit from specific tax and national insurance
contributions (NIC) exemptions approved via a
dispensation from HM Revenue & Customs. The
employee’s take home pay is increased and
therefore both the employer and employee are
able to benefit.

offer a range of training courses for Tempaid,
Aspire and Payroll. These include basic,
advanced and administrator levels. Courses
can also be tailored to your own requirements.
All courses can either be held here in
Clockhouse Barn, Abingdon or on-site in your own
offices..
Courses held at Oxford
Software are typically £295 per
person+VAT (although discounts can
be made available where more than
two trainees are booked at the same
time). On-site courses start from
£650+VAT for up to four trainees.
